About Us…
Interior design has been always been Michelle’s passion. Growing up, she always had her bedroom and bathroom designed around themes. She spent hours selecting bedspreads, curtains, paint and choosing accessories to make her bedroom and bathroom beautiful. Her “shopping” then was from her mothers’ linen closet or old, disregarded things stashed in the basement.
As she got older, she started creating beautiful spaces for her friends. Rummaging through their linen closets and helping them pick out accessories to pull the look together. She would spend hours designing dream rooms, pouring over design magazines and fantasizing about being a famous Interior Designer one day.
Now, she travels to Highpoint Market, Atlanta and New York for fabulous finds. She prides herself in finding “just the right piece” that completes the look. 
She started out as an Interior Designers assistant while in school and was promoted to Design Consultant and later to Buyer. She opened Michelle Baxter Interiors in 2008 and has been specializing in high end residential design ever since.
